A website for a new MOBA game called Dawngate went live a short while ago. The site is collecting beta applicants, and is promising a “whole new way to experience MOBA gameplay.” The website lists Waystone Games as the developer of the new title, and it appears that EA will be publishing the game on Origin. Dawngate is Waystone’s first game, and is described as such on their newly minted website....
Recently revealed was the news that both Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Call of Duty: Ghosts require Day-One updates so that the games may run natively in 1080p (1980×1080 for the PlayStation 4. As per Eurogamer and Polygon, the single-player campgain was reported to orignally run at 720p natively, which conflicted with earlier statements by Activision that the PlayStation 4 game would run at 1080p natively. Activision representatives have since contacted both Polygon and Eurogamer, reaffirming that the PS4 version of Ghosts does indeed run at 1080p, but a software update/patch will be released Day 1 to up the resolution to 1080p....

The recent Brawl Talk live stream has given fans the first glimpse of Season 8 in Brawl Stars, called Once Upon a Brawl. The new season is centered around the fairytale theme and will feature a new brawler, skins, and pins. Ash is the newest Brawler joining the Brawl Stars’ long roster. The trash knight is a Chromatic Brawler and thus will be available in Season 8’s Brawl Pass. NIS America has sadly released a statement announcing that the PC version of their action-RPG Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is getting delayed to an unspecified date in the future, mentioning the continuous framerate and other technical issues as the prime reason for postponing the release. Apparently the team approached the PC version as a port from the PS4 release, however, the difference in the architecture of both platforms has proved to be too big to be able to run the game at an acceptable pace....
Convention season is coming to a close for Bungie and Destiny. The developer took the wraps off of their secretive title earlier this year at E3 in June, then again at Gamescom last month gave fans a showing of gameplay. Basculin is a returning Pokémon that was introduced in the eighth generation of games. Part of what makes Basculin so interesting is the fact that it has three different types that players could catch: a red-striped form, a blue-striped form, and a white-striped form. A rating for another title named “Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium Bundle #1” has also been found on the same site.
