The futuristic RPG will now release five months later. Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed until September, CD Projekt Red announced today. This delay follows two other delays of highly anticipated titles, Final Fantasy VII Remake and Marvel’s Avengers, ditching the contested spring release window in favor of a fall launch. Originally scheduled to launch on April 16, Cyberpunk 2077 will now launch five months later on September 17. The development team put out a statement on Twitter to provide some reasoning as to why the game is being delayed....

CD Projekt Red released patch 1.1 for Cyberpunk 2077, the RPG’s first significant update. The patch concentrates on various stability improvements aimed at addressing game-breaking bugs.
