Developer Supercell has revealed an upcoming update to their mobile megahit Clash of Clans, which will add a huge amount of new content and gameplay mechanics. In summary, the game will add a new kingdom called Builder Base, which functions with its own set of resources. Players will also get to use new units and new battle modes. In fact, some describe the new package as a sequel in disguise, made to boost the popularity of the original game instead of dividing the userbase with another title....

Today Konami has revealed that some old classics are coming to PC via the GOG store, including games such as Castlevania, Metal Gear, and the Contra franchise. Some of the games can be bought individually, but others have to be purchased as part of a bundle. Metal Gear games - Metal Gear, Metal Gear Solid, and Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance can be purchased individually, but the Castlevania and Contra series have to be purchased in a single pack called the Konami Collector’s Series....

Cobra Kai is moving from YouTube to Netflix for its third season. The upcoming installment of the hit original series, which is a continuation of the beloved film franchise The Karate Kid, will be produced as a Netflix original. With YouTube officially out of the scripted space, it announced that it would be moving to a different streaming platform for its third season. The highly anticipated release of Microsoft’s Crackdown 3 has hit a bump in the road. It was set to release this November alongside the Xbox One X, but it has been bumped to an unspecified date in Spring 2018. This news was confirmed by Microsoft Studios Publishing general manager Shannon Loftis. “We’re very excited about Crackdown 3, and so are many fans, and so it’s a difficult call to move the release date,” Loftis told Polygon in an email today....

By the end of the month, on June 29, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is releasing on PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One, putting an end to its year-long exclusivity to PlayStation 4. Last minute removal? With all the recent reports from wrestling websites that Daniel Bryan will be signing with AEW, it looks like WWE wants to remove him from their upcoming WWE 2K22 video game. As reported by Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has contacted 2K Games with a memo demanding Daniel Bryan not to be included as playable character in the WWE 2K22 roster. This memo was actually sent out to multiple licensees meaning you won’t see any Daniel Bryan WWE merchandise anywhere in stores....

The upcoming Marvel movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has added another impressive talent. In an interview with Inverse, composer Danny Elfman revealed he has begun work on the sequel. Elfman didn’t give anything away about the movie, of course. And his work on the score is in the early stages. Elfman has been working in Hollywood for decades. He has partnered with Tim Burton multiple times, churning out classic film scores for 1989’s Batman, 1999’s Sleepy Hollow, and 2003’s Big Fish, just to name a few....
