PQube has announced today that the visual novel Chaos;Child will be released in Western territories in October. Europe will receive the game on October 13th, while North America will get it on October 24th. The game allows players to investigate a series of grisly murders as part of the journalist team of a high school newspaper, using the same gameplay mechanics of the popular Steins;Gate. In the game, players take the role of Takuru Miyashiro, a young high school student who lost his parents during a devastating earthquake years ago....

Contender Cards are a new addition to the Guardian Games 2021 in Destiny 2. They can be gotten from Eva in exchange for Laurels, but only one can be active at any time. Eva can be found in the Tower, directly between the Eververse and Banshee. We are not sure of the cost of the Contender Cards just yet, but will update this guide when the even goes live on April 20....

Remedy Entertainment is working on two next-gen games with a “major publisher,” whose name has not been disclosed yet. A press release is being issued later today, so more details and possibly the name of the publisher will be revealed soon. The Alan Wake and Control developer has shared that the first project is going to be a “AAA multi-platform game,” which is already in pre-production, though. The second game is a “smaller-scale” project based in the same franchise, and it is coming from the experimental Vanguard team, whose work has been announced several months ago....

Borderlands 3 in many ways feels like a throwback. This was used as a pejorative by some reviewers, but I see it as a positive. Powerful non-elemental spells are an Arcanist’s strongest point. In the same fashion as a Black Mage, Arcanists are powerful sorcerers who are able to demolish waves of enemies in seconds, even in Bravely Default 2’s post-game. You do unlock them quite late into the game, but there is enough content afterwards to complete and witness their astonishing power. That said, they do come with a couple of drawbacks, that may feel a little troublesome to deal with....

On Snaktooth Island, there are tons of cute, food-themed critters called Bugsnax that you can capture, including a Flamin Cheepoof. To catch a Flamin Cheepoof, you need a Lunchpad and a Snak Trap.
