While there’s plenty I’m excited for from the rest of the year’s offerings (Life is Strange and Deathloop being two particular games of note), I’m particularly excited about the Crysis Remastered Trilogy as well. The Crysis series is one I’ve come to cherish for everything it does right, from its open-ended level design, sci-fi world, and questions of how technology defines a person. In fact, I gave the full series a replay earlier this year and fell in love with it all again....

Cyberpunk 2077 contains a reference to a very popular show. Cyberpunk 2077 contains a bunch of references to other things, and one early side job includes a reference to The Office. A new update is available for Cyberpunk 2077. Update 1.52 has arrived for Cyberpunk 2077, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. There’s been a surge in downloads for the Borderlands 3 Redux Mod after its latest update, Legacy, was released on Jan 1. The lead on the development team for the mod, EpicNNG, posted on Twitter today that the mod has received 15,000 downloads since it launched one year ago and 2,500 in the past week alone. Curve Digital has released the newest trailer for their upcoming game I Am Fish. The Human Fall Flat publisher, in conjunction with the developers of Surgeon Simulator, Bossa Studios, are creating a Finding Nemo-esque action-adventure title where you navigate the world as four different fish that have escaped from their tanks. The new trailer showcases a huge overhaul of what we’ve seen of I Am Fish before, with a much more robust visual style and a very detailed world (and of course, more fish)....

The Bungie team has reportedly decided to hit us with a franchise most of us haven’t heard from in years. According to apparently leaked insider info, the developers at Bungie are planning on reviving the Marathon franchise after more than 20 years. The first Marathon game was released in 1994, with two sequels following up in 1995 and 1996. If true, this would be the first game in more than 10 years since the Bungie team worked on a different game than Destiny....

The guys at Defend the House are taking full advantage of Call of Duty: Black Op’s inclusion of a video mode in the game. A few hours ago, we reported about a Sony patent that looked like a PlayStation 5 dev kit. We’ve known for a while that development kits for the next-generation console are around, as chief architect Mark Cerny had released an interview where he detailed PS5’s specs to prevent leaks from popping up on the net after those had been shipped. Anyway, this patent included a slightly bulky design, something recalling a “V” with a lot of vents that, even considering that development kits are usually quite weird in terms of how they look, seemed very unnecessarily unusual....
