As if sent from the heavens, CD PROJEKT says Cyberpunk 2077 is still on schedule for its September 17 release date. This news is delightful. The past few weeks have been a mixed bag for gaming news. It’s been awesome to see studios and companies support players with free and discounted products/services. Surely these moves are beneficial for businesses, but they’ve brought gamers together, and I love that. The good times stopped with the indefinite delays of The Last of Us Part II and Iron Man VR....

Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red has a big mess to clean up. Cyberpunk was, by all means, a massive blunder. We all know the story at this point, the game released as a buggy, difficult-to-play mess. Despite this, it seemed like CD Projekt Red would continue on like nothing happened, with its next step being a standalone multiplayer title set in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe. Now, that project may be off the table....

Dance Central: Spotlight is set to be the first next-gen release by Harmonix and the first next-gen entry to the franchise that made a name for itself on the Xbox 360 with the Kinect. Spotlight is set to be the franchises first download-only release. It seems the model for Dance Central: Spotlight which is more akin to Rock Band: Blitz hints that the game is simply an off-shoot and might not be a direct prequel/sequel to the main franchise....

While developer Spike Chunsoft recently revealed that Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc would be making its way to Steam at some point this month, the developer has now revealed the official release date. The game will be making its Steam debut on February 18. The game marks the first entry in the Danganronpa series that will debut on a platform that is outside of a PlayStation handheld, as the previous games were only available on PSP and PS Vita....

Dark Souls fans that are holding out hope for an improved version of Dark Souls 2 next month when the game releases on PC, might be in for a let down. It was recently discovered that images are being removed from Steam that showcased texture and lighting elements that failed to make it into the console release. Dark Souls 2 fans will recall that there was a huge disparity between what was showcased leading up to console release, and what was in the final product....

Square Enix has been emphasizing on building an “ongoing world” in Marvel’s Avengers. That is, the game will keep getting new characters and content overtime for the players to keep them engaged. During the last Avengers War Table, it was revealed that the game will be getting Hawkeye, who will be having his own storyline separate from the main campaign. Soon after it was revealed that Spider-Man will also be making his way into the game in early 2021, however, as a PlayStation exclusive....

Fans hoping for a Days Gone sequel might have had their hopes dashed this week. Two devs who were central to the zombie survival game’s creation announced on Tuesday they are no longer with Bend Studio, the company behind the title. John Garvin, the Days Gone and Syphon Filter director, took to Twitter to announce he’s been gone for a while now. He just hadn’t let the public know until now....

Bravely Second has taken a very long time to make it to the US, but next month the wait will finally be over. The wait is going to be a little easier to endure soon, as well, as Nintendo has revealed that the demo for the game will be hitting the eShop on March 10th. While described as more of a prequel to the game rather than a sampling of gameplay from the actual game, content that you acquire in the demo will nonetheless transfer over to the main game should you decide to buy it....

Call of Duty: Ghosts Nemesis is available now, first, exclusively on Xbox Live for Xbox One and Xbox 360, with other platforms to follow. Nemesis introduces four new multiplayer maps, each featuring a unique Field Order, and includes the fourth and final entry and epic conclusion to Extinction’s episodic narrative – “Episode 4: Exodus.” The new maps are as follows (taken from the press release) : “Goldrush” – Set in the Southwest United States, this abandoned gold mine’s network of tunnels and perilous shafts create the ideal setting for medium to long range combat....

The Call of Duty franchise is back with a new entry in the series, Modern Warfare. It serves a fresh reboot for the franchise, taking the story back to around a bit with a stronger focus on Captain John Price. Beyond the story, there game’s multiplayer love is in full swing, with plenty of players jumping back into the fray. A new feature of multiplayer is missions. These missions are going to unlock special guns for players to use, granted they can finish the objectives for each challenge....

Shipment finally arrives in Vanguard. Update 1.07 has arrived for Call of Duty: Vanguard, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. This update finally adds the long-awaited Shipment map to Vanguard multiplayer. To celebrate, a Shipment 24/7 playlist has been added to the game so players can level up their weapons and operators. Of course, this update also fixes a wide array of bugs across multiplayer and Zombies....

According to the latest Call of Duty blog post, Warzone players can now expect the Pacific coast-set map to release this December. Even more surprising, the massive seaside setting, titled Caldera, will also affect Warzone in name, as Activision has announced it will rename the battle royale soon. The developer revealed that when this Caldera map releases on December 2, its signature free-to-play title will then be known as Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific....
