While we’re all eagerly waiting to learn when the game is actually releasing, quest director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz has shared his biggest inspirations for the work he’s been doing for years now on Cyberpunk 2077. Interestingly, Tomaszkiewicz namechecked some of his biggest inspirations, without shying away from the question and perhaps hinting at what we could be anticipating for the much-awaited title from the makers of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt....

Dark Souls 2 will launch early today, if ever so slightly. The game due to arrive on April 25th, will unlock via Steam on April 24th 3pm PDT. A post on the Bandai Namco Tumblr (spotted by inc gamers) revealed the adjusted timetable for the highly anticipated release. PC players have had to wait over a month for the release of Dark Souls 2, but the wait will likely pay off....

Darkest Dungeon’s challenging roguelike series has amassed a loyal and dedicated following with its challenging gameplay and unforgiving nature. The original title was released back in 2015 to much praise from fans, and over six years later, the sequel hits Early Access on Steam. The founders of Red Hook Studios made a statement alongside the Early Access launch. The message thanks fans for their dedication thus far while letting them know that Darkest Dungeon 2 is an Early Access title....

Darksiders 2 is set to release on June 26th according to the game’s official Twitter account. The second story in the franchise that encompasses the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse features Death, the most feared of the legendary Four Horsmen. Death will seek to to redeem his brother’s name after the cliffhanger ending in the original Darksiders alluded to his arrival on Earth. As Death fights to save the earth from Apocalypse, he’ll uncover that there is a far deeper threat at work....

When THQ collapsed it was unclear whether the Darksiders franchise would continue. After a couple of outings that saw positive critical reception due to the bedrock of the game being a good mix of puzzle dungeons that many likened to The Legend of Zelda, a beautiful art-style, and a decent combat system in Darksiders (2010) and Darksiders 2 (2012). With Darksiders 3, only one of those things returns in what is the worst entry in the series....

Bloodborne director and creator of the ‘Souls’ series of games Hidetaka Miyazaki of From Software, recently had an interview in the most recent issue of Official PlayStation Magazine UK. In it he finally revealed what his favorite boss in the ‘Souls’ franchise is. There are quite a few bosses in Bloodborne, but there were also quite a few unique ones in Dark Souls II, Dark Souls and of course the original Demon’s Souls that started it all....

You heard ’em, off to the Vanguard playlist! Festival of the Lost is the Halloween event in Destiny 2 and a Spectral Pages bug has ruined some of the fun. Players are reporting that they are unable to complete the Gone but Not Forgotten quest that starts the Festival of the Lost event because they can’t convert their Spectral Pages to Manifest Pages. Though there are a few proposed fixes to this Spectral Pages error, Bungie has suggested that completing a strike can fix this issue....

In a blog post on the Activision website, it has been revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is dropping loot boxes and random rewards in favor of a Battle Pass system. Loot Boxes are being given the Ghost treatment, along with the Season Pass, and the person doing the shooting is called Battle Pass. According to the blog post, the Battle Pass will be aimed to replace randomized loot boxes as a way to reward players for investing time and money into the game....
