The Cannes Film Festival bans Russian delegations. This is the Cannes Film Festival’s response to the ongoing war in Ukraine, initiated by the Russian invasion. The Ukrainian Film Academy called for a boycott of Russian cinema earlier today. This year, the European Film Academy has supported decry by not accepting Russian films into European Film Awards. The Cannes Film Festival publically supported Ukraine in the war, saying “not welcome official Russian delegations nor accept the presence of anyone linked to the Russian government” at the festival this year....

Resident Evil 0, RE HD Remaster, and Resident Evil 4 all coming to Switch in May We’ve known for a while now that Capcom has been working on releasing several Resident Evil games for the Switch. Now a release date for these games: Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil HD Remaster, and Resident evil 4 has finally been set for May 21. These editions seem to be the same ones released for the ps4 and xbox1 back in 2016....

A new battle, General Avlora’s Assault, will commence once you choose your units. To win, “decimate all enemy forces.” To lose, you’ll have to see your last ally perish. Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield from Capcom’s Resident Evil franchise are creeping their way to Fortnite as character skins. Their default appearance is based on their uniforms from the first Resident Evil and Resident Evil 5 respectively. Both skins are available right now in the Fortnite Item Shop as the S.T.A.R.S. Team Set. Chris has an alternate outfit called the Hound Wolf Squad Style that makes him wear the outfit he wore in Resident Evil Village....

While everyone knows that Clash of Clans has been a major success on mobile devices, this new statistic that has just been released really puts it all in perspective. Developer Supercell has revealed that Clash of Clans now brings in over 100 million players per day, making the free-to-play game one of the most successful mobile games of all time. While 100 millions players per day is certainly a lot, it shouldn’t have come as too much of a surprise when the developers revealed they were earning $654,000 per day from the game a couple of years ago....

With open world games, we’re used to having large environments to explore, but those are usually limited to external areas. When you build an urban world, though, you have to make sure you not only have a lot of buildings but also that they are explorable and rewarding for players. This is one of the toughest challenges CD Projekt RED is facing while crafting Cyberpunk 2077, which is going to have a Night City structured in multiple districts and will need to have buildings that could be explored, and that will require to be different based on the zone you’re going into....

After finally getting some new information on the upcoming action RPG from the legendary developers at From Software. Being created by a different team than other From Software titles such as Dark Souls II, Bloodborne takes place in the 19th century where you take the role of a hunter and attempt to cure a plague that has struck its inhabitants.
