There are quite a few changes, upgrades, and tweaks on their way to Borderlands 2. So much so, that you might feel jubilantly overwhelmed at first. Thankfully, Sir Hammerlock – Hunter, Scholar, Gentlemen – is here to walk you through all of them. In addition to a wide variety of newly implemented environments and enemies, Borderlands 2 will apparently feature a total of 87 bazillion guns. That’s right, 87 bazillion according to Sir Hammerlock, and who doesn’t trust a charming fellow with a sharp British accent?...

Brad Bird will direct the movie Ray Gunn for Skydance Animation. He will be teaming up with John Lasseter, head of the animation for Skydance, with whom he formerly worked on several Pixar projects. This information is reported by Deadline. Ray Gunn will be Bird’s first animated film since Incredibles 2. The film comes from a script that Bird and Matthew Robbins wrote when Bird worked over at Warner Bros. Animation in the 1990s....

Brawlhalla publisher Ubisoft has announced today, during their E3 event, that the latest crossover for the free-to-play fighting game will be TMNT. With the crossover release just around the corner, gamers can expect to suit up as Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo as soon as June 16. Check out the trailer for the update below. The crossover will be kickstarted with an in-game event that features a new game mode called ‘Crew Battles’....

While the official launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War isn’t until next month, PS4 players got their hands, and eyes on the beta over the weekend. If you had a code like we did, or preordered the game, you got into that beta a bit early, on October 8. This beta showed off what people can expect from the multiplayer version the game goes live in November....

Activision’s kernel-level anti-cheat security driver, RICOCHET, was announced before the release of Call of Duty: Vanguard. While its main requirement was in the cheater-infested Warzone Battle Royale, the developers did promise that the anti-cheat would eventually make its way to Vanguard. Several months after the game’s release, Call of Duty has announced that RICOCHET anti-cheat for PCs has now been implemented globally in Vanguard with the Season 3 update. This news comes weeks after a top-ranked player on the Multiplayer leaderboard accidentally revealed his hacks on stream....

The Call of Duty League has an unofficial set of rules for Call of Duty: Vanguard, put in place by the teams that compete within the League. One player from each of the twelve teams enters into a private chat on an annual basis to determine what items are overpowered to ensure that the games broadcasted are as competitive as possible. This unofficial ruleset is called the Gentlemen’s Agreement (GA), and is an agreement from all teams within the Call of Duty League to not use specific items and killstreaks for the sake of competitive balance....

Call of Duty Vanguard is here, and with a new game comes new plans for Call of Duty League, the premier pro circuit for the ever-popular shooter. The league is changing things up for the new season, with a return to form in some ways and big changes in others. As told in its 2022 explainer video, Call of Duty League will be holding in-person events again next year. Qualifying matches will be held online, with each of the fours majors being held in a physical space....

One Piece Odyssey is the newest game set in the vast universe of One Piece. This is a turned-based role-playing game in which you will fight various enemies, and meet tons of amazing characters from the One Piece universe. In recent years, Square Enix has added the option of changing the in-game language in Final Fantasy games. Players were thrilled to find that they could play with both English and Japanese audio and subtitles in Final Fantasy XV, World of Final Fantasy, and Lightning Returns. Many are hoping this trend will continue in the remake of one of the most beloved games in the series. After playing through the demo and searching through all of the options in-game, we were not able to find any way to change the audio, menu, or subtitle languages....

Just a few weeks after his Fortnite debut, popular singer, songwriter, and producer Charlie Puth is stepping into the Roblox Metaverse. Most known for his 2015 collab with Wiz Khalifa “See You Again,” Puth is set to perform some of his biggest songs when he takes the virtual State Farm Park stage inside iHeartLand: Music Tycoon on Friday, October 7, 2022, at 6pm CT. Cynical Software, a prominent Call of Duty: Warzone cheat distributor, announced on its Telegram server Wednesday that it would stop selling “helper subscriptions” (cheats) for Call of Duty games, citing fear of legal action by Activision. The announcement came shortly after Activision filed a lawsuit against EngineOwning, a German software company known for making cheats for various Call of Duty games. The distributor claimed it viewed the Call of Duty publisher’s lawsuit as “a warning […] that Activision [is] not messing around” when it comes to cheats....

Clifford the Big Red Dog is set to hit theatres next year. The first trailer is out now. Clifford the Big Red Dog is making a comeback in live-action form. The movie adaption of the beloved children’s book follows the colossal canine from puppyhood – when middle-schooler Emily Elizabeth adopts the normal-sized pup and brings him back to her New York City apartment – all the way through his massive growth spurt, which causes Emily and her giant companion to go on a Big Apple adventure together....

EA is officially working on Command & Conquer Remastered, thanks to a partnership with Petroglyph and Lemon Sky. The games remastered are Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert, complete with the expansions Covert Ops, Counterstrike, and Aftermath. Petroglyph includes many of the original developers from Westwood Studios, and some of the most influential members of the original Command & Conquer development team from 1995. Joe Bostic is known as the co-creator of C&C, having also served as the Lead Programmer on Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert....

Console Wars: Sega, Nintendo and the Battle that Defined a Generation by Blake J. Harris will soon be headed to the small screen via CBS All Access, reports Deadline. The 2014 book chronicles the rivalry between Sega and Nintendo in the 1990s. It features tons of behind-the-scenes facts about the underdog Sega as it tried to steal a piece of the industry from the dominating Nintendo. It mainly focuses on former Sega executive Tom Kalinske as he brought the Genesis to glory....

During E3 2019, the Spyro Reignited Trilogy was confirmed for the Nintendo Switch. The good folks over at Nintendo Life have since noticed an interesting disparity between the box art for the European and North American versions. On the North American box art that was shown on retailer Best Buy’s website the message “Download required. See back” is displayed. This is pretty standard for the trilogy, as the same was required for the PS4 and Xbox One versions....

Crackdown 2 has been added to the Xbox One backwards compatibility list. Larry Hryb, Director of Programming for Xbox Live, announced the game is also free on the Live store. This latest news now means all three Crackdown games are available free to anyone with an Xbox Game Pass. The original Crackdown was released for free on the store just before the third installment. Once the third game in the series was offered via Game Pass, it was only a matter of time before the middle game joined the party....

PlayStation has posted a brand new video about Cyberpunk 2077, where CD Projekt RED discusses several topics behind the development process and the release date. First of all, the Polish developer hasn’t changed its mind about the launch, since the game is “still coming when it’s ready.” Anyway, CEO Marcin Iwiński, Level Designer Miles Tost and Community Lead Marcin Momot shared that the developer is still “far from over.” This probably means that we won’t get the game in 2019, with a launch most likely coming towards the end of 2020....
