The Crysis 2 Demo/Beta was only slated to allow users to play one map “Skyline”. Last night, Xbox 360 beta testers got a quick glimpse at one of the other maps for Crysis 2 multiplayer. Pier 17 slipped into the map rotation last night, this second map for the Crysis 2 demo has since been taken out of rotation for the beta. Having been able to play it briefly last night, I think critics of the Cry Engine 3 will soon be silenced as the level looked amazing....

The executive producers of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars have announced that the hit series will be moving to Disney+ starting this fall. Dancing With The Stars originally premiered on ABC in 2005. The show was directed by Alex Rudzinski between 2005 and 2016 and Phil Heyes from 2016 to the present. Tom Bergeron (America’s Funniest Home Videos) acted as the main host for the show up until 2018 and was followed by Tyra Banks....

In a recent livestream with David Jaffe, former Bend Studio director Jess Ross revealed that Days Gone sequel pitch included an online mode that would have formed a significant portion of the game. Due to an NDA, Ross cannot speak about much of the Days Gone 2 pitch that Sony ultimately declined. Ross doesn’t know if Sony outright canceled plans for a sequel, but he did outline that his leaving Bend Studio had nothing to do with the sequel pitch being rejected....

Brandon Sanderson, the author of the Mistborn series, The Stormlight Archive, and more, will present a Moonbreaker Lore Showcase with Charlie Cleveland, Game Director for Moonbreaker, on September 27, 2022. Moonbreaker is a turn-based strategy game meant to replicate a tabletop tactics experience. It has already had two free-to-play test weekends and is set to open for Early Access on September 29, 2022. Treasure’s cult classic bullet hell title Ikaruga could be making its way to PlayStation 4, if a German listing for the game, spotted by news website Gematsu, is to be believed. Originally released on the Dreamcast back in 2002, the game leapt to the GameCube in 2003 before becoming available on the Xbox Live Arcade for Xbox 360 in 2008. Two classics in a lackluster package. At long last, Castlevania Requiem has arrived, bringing Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood to the PlayStation 4. It has to be said that Sony absolutely delivered a fantastic controller with the PlayStation 4’s DualShock 4. For many, it’s the best controller that has ever been released. I love it, but the GameCube pad takes some beating.
