Although anime games are extremely popular in China, it seems the Chinese government is looking to ban games — PC, console, and mobile — that promote or have heavy Japanese elements. After being officially delayed earlier in the week, Crackdown 3 got a new trailer during Microsoft’s E3 2018 press conference. Terry Crews was featured prominently in the new trailer, wreaking havoc across the in-game map as the new release date was reaffirmed. Unfortunately, there weren’t any further details discussed about the delayed title during Microsoft’s rapid-fire showing of the 50 games it promised ahead of the show getting underway. Strangely absent from the trailer was some of the destruction we’d been promised with previous announcements regarding the game, but we’ll likely learn more about this in the coming months....
Sony has once again released their monthly list of top sellers from the PlayStation Store. This list gives a good idea of what games are selling the most across the various PlayStation platforms. One thing I like about Borderlands 3 is that you get your own room on Sanctuary to decorate as you see fit. It’s a nice touch, and I cannot tell you how many times I have wanted other loot-based cooperative games to give you a little space to make your own. Respawn Entertainment’s Jedi: Fallen Order has been presented at EA’s E3 event EA Play, showcasing the gameplay and confirming that players will be able to take multiple routes to their goals. Respawn CEO Vince Zampella and Game Director Stig Asmussen said that each area will have branching paths that can be explored. From the gameplay, it looks like it will be more like God of War in that there will only be the main path with several side areas....
Bethesda will be hosting another beta weekend for The Elder Scrolls Online, between Friday, February 28th and Sunday, March 2nd. Beta invites have started going out to those enrolled, and this time around, Bethesda is allowing beta participants to bring a friend to try out the MMO RPG.
