Nintendo’s Nindies Direct had a surprise reveal of Cuphead coming to the Nintendo Switch. Cuphead is a run and gun shooter/boss rush video game that evokes the cartoons of the 1920s and 1930s. The entire game is hand drawn and took several years to make. You star as the eponymous Cuphead, who is just a boy with a cup as a head, and his brother Mugman. They made a deal with the devil, and need to collect the “soul contracts” of all the beings that own him....

Daisy Ridley of Star Wars Fame is in negotiations to star in psychological crime-thriller The Ice Beneath Her. Financed by STX, the film will be produced by Andrew Lazar (American Sniper) and directed by filmmaker trio – comprising of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett, and Chad Villella- Radio Silence (Ready Or Not). The cast is already vast for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and it just got bigger with Daniel Kaluuya, who is coming off his success with Jordan Peele’s sci-fi horror film Nope. Actress and comedienne Cecily Strong has exited Saturday Night Live halfway through her 11th season on the NBC sketch comedy show. Strong’s departure was announced on Saturday Night Live’s official Twitter page hours before her final episode aired. The post read, “Tonight we send off one of the best to ever do it. We’ll miss you, Cecily!” Strong is the latest of many performers to leave SNL this year.
