Capcom has officially announced that its upcoming sci-fi adventure game Pragmata has been delayed. The game was originally scheduled to release in 2022, but the new release window is now 2023. Capcom announced the delay with a new teaser and new artwork featuring the young protagonist for Pragmata. Pragmata’s delay was already heavily speculated by fans and critics since Sony’s Press Conference at CES in January 2021. During that press conference, a slide had text that showed Pragmata was coming in 2023 rather than its original 2022 release date....

Fans have been very disappointed at learning that Capcom was working on another bizarre multiplayer spin-off in the Resident Evil franchise with Project Resistance. That’s mainly because the Japanese firm was able to build two great titles in a row with Resident Evil 7 and the remake of Resident Evil 2, which was some confirmation that the studio had finally understood what people wanted from the series. After dubbing video games as “spiritual opium,” China bans online gaming for those under 18 by restricting playtime to three hours weekly. The law applies from September 1st onwards and will force video game companies to enforce a schedule for minors’ gaming hours: 8 to 9 PM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. An official notice has been released by China’s National Press and Publication Administration. Up until now, the policy was a lot more lenient: kids below 12 could play up to an hour per day, while minors between 12 and 18 could game up to two hours daily....
