Players that download the network test client within a week can participate. Dark Souls: Remastered is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC later this month, but before its release, Bandai Namco will host a network test to make sure it’s ready for launch. Details about this network test and how players can participate in it were recently given in a press release. The press release states that the Dark Souls: Remastered network test will take place on May 11 and 12 from 6:00pm PST to 11:59pm PST each day....

Child of Eden for PS3 has been delayed. Ubisoft has confirmed that the PS3 version of the game is still in development and won’t be ready for the expected June launch. Instead, Ubisoft announced that the PlayStation 3 version of Child of Eden has been bumped to September according to sources close to the matter. When it does release this fall, you can expect full PlayStation Move compatibility. The Xbox 360 version has not been delayed and will be available on June 14th in North America followed shortly thereafter worldwide....

The Epic Games Store delivered many treats for players this holiday season. During the 15 Days of Free Games event, the digital store presented one free title per day (such as Death Stranding and Encased) from December 15 to December 29. The catch was to acquire the games before the next one would replace its slot, ultimately closing an opportunity for some players. Warhammer 40k Darktide was officially released on November 30, and the game developer Fat Shark has already announced the first major update. It will be released as soon as Wednesday, December 14. The central topic of talk among the game’s fans centers around the introduction of the crafting system, specifically the addition of the “Refine Item” functionality.
