Activision has released a brand-new trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts’ upcoming ‘Devastation’ downloadable content. The gameplay shows off the new Ripper weapon, which has been available for Season Pass holders for some time. The DLC, which will be headed to Xbox One and Xbox 360 first, is due out in early April. It contains four new multiplayer maps: Behemoth, Ruins, Unearthed, & Collision. It includes the previously mentioned Ripper 2-in-1 gun, and Episode 2 for the Extinction cooperative mode....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was the best selling game in the United States for both December 2019 and 2019 overall, as revealed by NPD Group. Activision and Infinity Ward’s first-person shooter was the best selling title for the third consecutive month since its October launch and marked the 11th following year that Call of Duty has been the best selling franchise in that territory. Also, Call of Duty franchise releases accounts for 10 of the top 15 best selling games of the decade....

Unlock the brand new Welgun SMG in Call of Duty: Vanguard. The newest update of Call of Duty: Vanguard is here and there’s a new Welgun SMG up for grabs, a part of an in-game challenge as part of the season 1.5 update. The official description of the Welgun submachine gun says it’s a “heavy full-auto SMG with lethality and range for short- to medium-range engagements.” This Season 1 Reloaded update for Vanguard introduces loads of brand new content and various stability and bug fixes....

Raven Software prepares for Season 3 Update 1.35 is going live for Call of Duty: Warzone, and here’s the full list of changes and fixes added with this patch. Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.2 has been a long time coming, previously delayed from February to March due to a large-scale ransomware attack on the studio’s infrastructure. And it seems that developer CD Projekt Red has decided to deliver said patch notes in a more unique way: in-character and in the form of Night City (N54) news, which includes some developer commentary. In its financial report for the fiscal year 2020/21, publisher 505 Games has alluded to a Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night sequel. It appears as though the second game in the franchise is currently in development, though further details aren’t available at this time. Last ditch effort not enough to save Radical Heights developer Cliff Bleszinski’s Boss Key Productions has closed its doors, effective immediately, according to the developer who announced the news via a statement on Twitter. Bleszinski says that the failure of LawBreakers is largely to blame for the studio’s closure. In the statement, Bleszinski says that he’s taking some time off from games to reflect and that he hopes to make something new someday....
