The popular, and extremely deep, grand strategy game, Crusader Kings 2 by Paradox Interactive has had its upcoming expansion, Charlemagne, announced. The expansion will bring with it a whole load of new content including a whole new century to play in and story events that coincide with Charlemagne’s rein. This expansion, however, isn’t just the game developers jumping into their mod tools and redrawing borders on the game map to look like what you would expect during the 8th century and calling it an expansion (although, they absolutely did do that, with great amounts of research to keep authenticity)....

Hard as nails platformer Cuphead is coming to a TV screen near you courtesy of a Netflix series called The Cuphead Show! (confirmed by developer Studio MDHR, Netflix, and Kings Features). This time around, Studio MDHR will not be doing the animating as confirmed by IGN through a telephone interview with co-creator Chad Moldenhauer. Moldenhauer also confirmed that the art wouldn’t be drawn on paper, but through digital means. An internal Netflix animation studio will handle the majority of the work....

The mayhem in Borderlands 3 is about to get spooky! In true Borderlands fashion, the developers recently announced in a live stream that the first of several, free in-game events is Blood Harvest, an event perfect for the spookiest time of year, and it is set to roll out sometime next month. Bloody Harvest is set to start in October and will offer players a new area, enemies, and, more importantly, limited loot....

Borderlands 3 is getting busy over the next few weeks. On top of the Revenge of the Cartels event, and changes to Mayhem mode, we also get the Loot the Universe mini-event. Loot the Universe is a four-week long tour of the game’s many locations. Mod coordinator @EpicNNG has revealed that the Borderlands 3 Redux Mod has now reached 20,000 manual downloads. This means that roughly 20,000 people have downloaded the game, with 3,000 of those made last month alone. Earlier this year, there was a surge in downloads following the Legacy Update for the Borderlands 3 Redux Mod. At the time, the mod had hit 15,000 downloads in just over a year. This means that at least 5,000 new downloads have come in the last month, showing an increase in interest as the next Borderlands game, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, approaches....

Six million users have played Call of Duty: Warzone in its first 24 hours, Activision has revealed on the game’s official Twitter account.
