With the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War alpha test ending, one might think nothing new would be coming to Call of Duty’s current game, Modern Warfare, until the release of the game. Developer Infinity Ward has some other plans. An update to Call of Duty Modern Warfare is going live to bring Season Six to all players starting September 29. Season Six will introduce a new battle pass with brand new characters and other rewards, as well as new changes to the Warzone map, Verdansk....

In an unexpected twist, Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone are joining forces with the hit manga/anime series Attack on Titan for the games’ mid-season update. Coming later this month, the update will incorporate various elements from the popular show, now entering its final season, into the similarly stark and brutal worlds of Vanguard and Warzone. The developers are keen to stress that the incoming content will not just be for “superfans of the franchise” — rather, the included new items aim at any and all players....

With Genesect arriving in Pokémon Go, players are buzzing to find groups to defeat it in five-star raids to capture it. It will appear during the Secrets of the Jungle event from October 1 to 11. It’s going to be a particular version of Genesect where it has a Douse Drive installed. With a Douse Drive, when you capture this Pokémon after defeating it in five-star raids, it will have access to Techno Blast as a Water-type move, which the original Genesect cannot learn....

Striders are a creature you can find the Nether in your Minecraft world. These passive spawns wander around the dark terrain, bouncing around, impervious to lava, and with a saddle, you can ride them around the Nether. An early look at DONTNOD’s delightful new game set in the Life is Strange universe. During the Xbox E3 press conference a few days ago, a new narrative adventure by DONTNOD called The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit was announced. This new game is set in the same universe as DONTNOD’s cult classic Life is Strange, and will also serve as an introduction to the next Life is Strange game. Apex Legends is consistent in many ways, but it is constantly changing how the Care Package loot pool works and what the shifts look like. We have had a season in the past where the Care Package was untouched, but this season is extreme on the other end of that spectrum.
