With social distancing and quarantine remaining a constant in the coming days, people will need to have alternatives to their typical Easter activities. You could devote all your time to Animal Crossing: New Horizons Bunny day or you could check out Dauntless and its new Easter event.
Springtide is the name of this new Easter event and it focuses on egg hunts instead of the monster hunts we’ve come to love on the Shattered Isles. To start the Springtide event, players will need to find an NPC in Ramsgate named Bosun Markus. Bosun Markus works as a tutor and mentor for players.
The Springtide quest has three rounds:
- Players must look for eggs around the Shattered Isles.
- Gamers need to herd pufflehops into their pen.
- Players must defend against the styxian attack.
The Dauntless Springtide update also provides some extra benefits:
- A new Mastery card for the Firestorm Prism
- The default action for the radial menu in a hunt is now flared
- Improved the appearance of water and landscape on islands
- Increases in wearable XP—especially Hunt Pass XP 1-13 grants 15XP (up from 10) and 10-50 grants 25XP (up from 15)
- Additionally bug fixes for armor, weapons, and Behemoths
