Kadokawa officially began streaming the promotional video for the new Date a Live IV “Kurumi Arc.” This arc will feature a fan-favorite character Kurumi Tokisaki. Overall, the new trailer highlights the upcoming ninth episode of the season, as well as the anime’s new “Nightmare” story arc. The company also revealed a visual for Date a Live IV’s Kurumi arc.

The Date a Live IV anime premiered on the AT-X channel on April 8th. The anime was set to start in October. However, it was delayed until 2022 due to “various reasons.” Crunchyroll is currently streaming the anime as it comes out in Japan.

“Date a Live” IV: Even More Love and Highjinks

Koushi Tachibana first launched the original light novel series in 2o11, with the series ending on March 29th, 2020.  Throughout the novel’s run, Tsunako was in charge of illustrations. Kadokawa’s Fantasia Bunko published the 22nd (and last) volume in March 2022. Yen Press is releasing the novels in English.

For the anime, Crunchyroll has all of the previous Date a Live seasons in dub and sub. The story is described as:

Unlike the first three seasons, the fourth season features a different production team. Despite this, all of the original cast members have returned. The first three seasons aired in 2013, 2014, and 2019. Also, there has been a Date a Live anime film and a two-part Date a Bullet special. Since its release, Date a Live has also inspired various spin-offs, manga, and video games.
