Darq is an upcoming title developed and published by Unfold Games.  In partnership with publisher Feardemic, the Complete Edition will release this December. Coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC (Steam and GOG), the game will be priced at $19.99. They also have a planned release to Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Switch in Q1 of 2021.

Darq Storyline

Some of us can remember even the most mundane dreams. Others might not remember, regardless of how intense it was. But there’s a form of dreaming known as ‘lucid dreaming.’ In this state, some people can remember the details vividly. In Darq, a boy named Lloyd becomes stuck in his dreams. As he comes to realize this, the dream becomes an extreme nightmare. Despite this realization, he cannot escape the dream. To end the nightmare, the boy must travel deeper into his own subconscious. Only by manipulating the dream’s laws of physics and its fluid fabric can he escape.

In addition to manipulating the dream world, Lloyd must rely on stealth. Sure, it’s a dream, but without the mind, the body cannot survive. The young boy must employ stealth to avoid the enemies much more powerful than he is.

Darq: Complete Edition will come with two DLC packs: The Tower and The Crypt. The former is a mysterious structure with new puzzles and secrets. The latter is the final expansion for the game. Together the DLCs provide far more challenging puzzles, never-before-seen mechanics, additional achievements, and surprises.

Owners of the PC version will gain a free Complete Edition upgrade when the game releases on December 4th. And anyone with a current-gen console copy will also receive a free optimized upgrade for next-gen.

Darq is currently available on Steam. Officially, the Complete Edition will launch on December 4th for current-gen consoles. It will launch officially for the Nintendo Switch in early 2021.
