His Legacy As The Third Greatest Spider-Man
Andrew Garfield recently returned as Spider-Man in Spider-Man: No Way Home, which was released in 2021. Lately, fans have wondered if he’d come back for an Amazing Spider-Man 3, but unfortunately, the actor would instead stick to only cameos as he did in No Way Home. Garfield said recently about the cancellation of his films: “there was an undone feeling.” With Charlie Cox’s Daredevil also having a cameo in the film, Garfield and he probably got many chances to talk on set.
Charlie Cox has joking jabbed at Andrew Garfield’s legacy as Spider-Man at a party. During the 25th GQ Men of the Year party, which was on November 16th, Cox, who is now planning to play in Daredevil: Born Again, decided to give Garfield a hard time as guys do to one another. Charlie Cox was on stage and began a toast to the Amazing Spider-Man saying, “one of, if not the greatest actor of our generation…another sickeningly good year…” then the actor went on to make his joke. “His legacy as the third greatest Spider-Man of all time.”
As her continued, he shared that he had recently been “bemoaning his seemingly limitless talents” to a friend of his. A lot of his speech was out of teasing to the Spidey actor. Andrew Garfield then came on stage following Cox’s speech and thanked him for his words. Garfield admitted that he was actually “terrified to be standing there” in front of so many people he had admired his whole life.
