There are many excellent Cyberpunk 2077 mods available today, including several upgrades to automobiles – so why hasn’t there been a cool flying car mod that operates like the future DeLorean in Back to the Future Part II? A Cyberpunk 2077 player must have thought about this question, and he developed a flying car mod. You may now fly autos or even bikes in CD Projekt’s newest RPG game.
Cyberpunk 2077 Now Has Flying Cars and Bikes
Cyberpunk 2077 vehicle upgrades include police pursuits, automotive customization, and even a fully working metro system, but not what looks like the most apparent mod of all – flying automobiles. It’s obvious how important it is for Cyberpunk-style games that choose cities of the future to have flying cars. And given that, it is surprising that Cyberpunk 2077 does not currently have flying cars.
This weird situation seems to have changed now. As noticed by YouTuber LastKnownMeal, you can now download a mod by developer Jack Humbert that lets you fly automobiles and bikes in Cyberpunk 2077. It also incorporates wheels that fold into thrusters like Back to the Future. Flying motorbikes are also accessible, as is a horrifying first-person perspective.
You can see it out in action above. You may also land the car anywhere, including on the top of buildings, although you do not expect to be able to achieve much while you’re up there.
Cyberpunk 2077, the futuristic open-world RPG that’s had its share of ups and downs since its December 2020 debut, has officially hit 18 million copies sold across all platforms. For more on Cyberpunk, the first significant expansion is scheduled for 2023. Who knows, maybe that will officially include flying DeLoreans.
