Cyberpunk 2077 managed to steal the show at E3 2019 with the reveal of Keanu Reeves being in the game at the Xbox media briefing. That stunt was quite well planned and executed and was followed by some substance, as the game got a release date scheduled for April 16, 2020, on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

There could be something more on the way for the title as a spokesperson has revealed that more Hollywood actors could be involved in the project until next year’s launch. The news was reported by VGC, which talked to CD Projekt RED’s spokesperson and UI coordinator Alvin Liu.

“Uh… I can’t comment on that! You guys are going to have to wait and see,” Liu said, teasing but also hinting at a possible reveal of a brand new character who may be based on some other Hollywood actor or just a famous star.

Further talking about the matter, the developer said that this person would not be someone brought in just for the sake of having more and more stars involved in the game, but a man or a woman they think would be a good fit for the title.

“I will say that CDPR is a video game company first and it’s very important to us that the match works,” Liu said. “If it was a random celebrity that just wouldn’t work with our franchise, like Britney Spears or something, we wouldn’t pursue that opportunity.”

A few months ago, Lady Gaga was reported to be involved in the project and was even hinted at likely host at E3 2019 (back in the days we didn’t have any idea that role could be taken over by Keanu Reeves, after all). So, could she be the one?
