Cyberpunk 2077 has finally arrived and with it the adventure of a lifetime in the great Night City. This roleplaying action game has you taking over V as you take Night City by storm and carve their names as one of its very own legends. But even legends can get lonely. That’s right. Cyberpunk 2077 gives you the chance to romance your way into the hearts of a few characters in the game. So, here’s a guide for all of you wanting to know who your options are.

Cyberpunk 2077: All Romance Options

The four romance options offer substantial relationships. That is, V can either just have sex with them or they can actually enter a relationship with them. You’ll never be able to romance them all in one playthrough, as some are gated by V’s gender, but you can have multiple relationships at the same time.

Judy Alvarez: Feminine Body Type and Feminine Voice

Judy Alvarez is the first of the romance options that you will meet in-game. She’s the braindance expert that you will meet before the end of Act 1 to help steal the biochip. Once you have acquired the chip and the contents within it, you will get the chance to run into Judy again, as you are looking for Evelyn, the client that started the job in the first place. It’s very important to note that she will only romance V’s that are female presenting with a feminine voice.

She’ll have her own side quest arc that you should take advantage of if you’re going for her romance. It will start with Ex-Factor, which you will get after Judy calls to ask for your help taking over the Clouds club. These missions will continue until everything comes to a head with the side quest Pyramid Song. By the end of it, V can make a move and Judy will ask if they wish to enter a relationship or not the morning after.

River Ward: Feminine Body Type

River Ward is the sexy policeman romance option for those looking for a hunk of a man who’s not afraid to fight the gangs and criminals of Night City. However, don’t expect him in the main questline. He will be available if you start the side quest, I Fought the Law. In this quest, you will be introduced, and once completed, he will call V for help on other side quests. River is also only available to V’s with a feminine body type but either of the voices.

More specifically, he’ll call V distressed over his missing nephew in the Hunt side quest. After you’ve completed this one, he’ll call again inviting you to dinner. This will actually start the quest, Following the River, where he will take you on a romantic dinner to a secluded part of the city with an amazing view.

After some teasing flirty banter, River will ask if whether you are interested in him or not, and from there, you can have some sexy times. In the morning, you will have the option of continuing this romance and let it evolve into something more or letting it be a one-night stand.

Kerry: Masculine Body Type and Masculine Voice

Kerry is also a romance option that will only be available if you explore specific quests involving Rogue and Johnny. V will be tasked with breaking into Kerry’s house and getting the Samurai band back together for one last gig. After these particular missions, Kerry will call and open up his very own side questline. That being said, Kerry is a romance option only available to V’s with masculine body types and a masculine voice.

His questline focuses on his rising solo career and getting to the bottom of why it’s not taking off as well as it could be. V and Kerry have to discover what’s really holding him back. Romance isn’t really a factor until the quest, Off the Leash. Here, you will have the opportunity to go in for a kiss that will eventually lead to another kiss in the next quest, Boat Drinks. From there, you will have the chance to further your relationship on the beach after trashing Kerry’s manager’s boat.

Panam: Masculine Body

Panam is a Nomad you will encounter in the main questline when you are looking for Anders Hellman. But, like the rest, her relationship with V can only be developed through her very own side quest arc. Her romance is only for V’s with a masculine body but either of the voice options.

After some time has passed since first encountering her, Panam will contact you for some help in the side quest, Riders on the Storm. There, you will be stranded in a sand storm with her and will have an opportunity to make a move. She will be nervous to start something, but the opportunity will present itself again in the later quests, With a Little Help and Queen of the Highway. It’s in the last mission that things can finally get a little steamy, but, unfortunately, no formal relationship can be established with Panam.

Noteworthy Mentions

Alt Cunningham

Alt Cunningham is a mandatory romance for you when you relive Johnny’s memories. The romance itself is a way for the player to understand Johnny’s backstory and flesh out the past. This is crucial in understanding the later game as well as the ending.

Meredith Stout

Meredith Stout is the Militech agent you can meet during the main mission, The Pick Up. If you use her chip to pay for the Flathead, Meredith will be pleased. She’ll eventually contact you to meet at the No-Tell Motel for a night of fun. But that is the extent of the relationship. She will also only be available to masculine body and voice V’s who have the Corpo background.

Rogue Amendiares

Rogue is a past flame of Johnny Silverhand. She is not a real romance, but there is a chance for her and Johnny to rekindle their relationship if the player goes through a quest. Eventually, the main quest, Tapeworm will become available. In it,  Johnny will finally open up to you and ask you for possession of your body. For a short time, he would like to visit Rogue and have a little date. It will never evolve into a full relationship, but it’s a heartfelt moment all the same. And afterward, this quest will open up a path to get Johnny’s famous weapon.
