Cyberpunk 2077 has today (February 28) launched an update over on PC platforms, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. Today you shouldn’t go in expecting anything exciting, seeing as the update is more a hotfix than anything. With just one overarching change, there isn’t much to talk about here. Though with that being said, for those who have been running into issues with audio, today’s update should prove quite beneficial. You just shouldn’t expect anything extravagant beyond that. Without further adieu, here’s everything new with the February 28 update for Cyberpunk 2077!

As stated through the Twitter post above, today’s patch focuses entirely on audio software-related crashes and attempts to remedy them. That of course isn’t a bad thing as fewer crashes is always a benefit, but it means you should go in expecting anything more than that. Given what we were given recently though, it’s hard to say that anyone’s surprised. If you weren’t aware, Cyberpunk 2077 recently released a massive patch on all platforms titled update 1.5, bringing with it more bug fixes and changes to the game than anyone is willing to count. It was many months in the making, and many would argue that the game is in a state more acceptable of a full launch. Because let’s be honest, the game’s launch was beyond unacceptable.
As for what’s next, no one can say really. It’s a good guess to expect some bug-fix updates in the coming weeks and months, though the team has announced their plans to eventually bring both multiplayer and story DLC to the game. Though with how much they put into update 1.5, it’s likely we won’t be seeing that for a while. But hey, one can dream, right?
Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Stadia platforms. For more information regarding both this update and other announcements, check out the official Twitter page.
