It seems like a fan accidentally brought Johnny Silverhand from Cyberpunk 2077 to the recently debuted Need for Speed Unbound.
Cyberpunk 2077’s Johnny Silverhand Comes to Unbound
Need for Speed Unbound was released a few days ago, and it seems like it started attracting attention to the gaming world early. An Unbound player named ”3F4Tom” accidentally created Cyberpunk 2077‘s Johnny Silverhand while customizing his character in the game. Although the player says that he did not do this on purpose, the created character is very similar to Silverhand. The player then shared the in-game screenshots on Reddit, and of course, this post went viral.
Johnny Silverhand, born Robert John Linder, was a famous, influential rocker boy and the lead singer of the band Samurai before its breakup in 2008. A military veteran who defined the rocker boy movement into what it is today, he was the most prominent figure fighting against the corrupted NUSA government and megacorporations, often described as a terrorist. Johnny is charismatic and quite the charmer. However, he is also known to be irrational, impulsive, and a manipulator.
Johnny has a temper and seems to always be on edge, partly due to his history in the Second Central American War. His dedication and ambitions are what keep him going, but at the end of the day, he doesn’t care much for the people around him as long as they are used to accomplishing his goals. Besides, Silverhand first showed up in the tabletop role-playing game Cyberpunk 2020, which was released in 1988, and he was later assassinated. However, he later returned as a digital spirit in Cyberpunk 2077.
