The fall of Cyberpunk 2077 was one of the worst things to happen in the video game industry in recent times. We all had built up so much hope for the game; the hype was unreal. But the final product failed to meet everyone’s expectations by a mile.
Now Cyberpunk seems to be in a state of being forgotten. People don’t seem to be talking about it; they aren’t saying good things, they aren’t saying bad things, the game has gone silent.

The standalone multiplayer Cyberpunk 2077 game seems to have been canceled. The company is going to solely work on fixing the current game and making it perfect. They will also be working on the expansions for the game that is to come.
Cyberpunk, when it came out, sold over 12 million copies. That is no small number! It’s one of the most selling RPG games of all time now. The developers are also taking a step in the right direction. They didn’t give up on the game right after release because it already did sell well.
They have come out with updates that seem to be solving a lot of the issues. The latest update released (1.2) had a ton of fixes. Maybe Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t out of the running yet. If the developers can really push and completely fix the game, it can turn out to be the game we all were expecting.
