There’s vaporware, there’s development hell, and then there’s delay combo, I guess. Over on social media, CD Projekt Red yet again announced that Cyberpunk 2077‘s release is being pushed back, this time to December 10, 2020. The team cited that this Cyberpunk 2077 delay happens because they’re having problems with releasing the game for nine different versions simultaneously while in the pandemic working conditions. That means the claim that another delay could happen was true after all. The official post clarified the current issues:

Cyberpunk 2077 was first delayed to September 17 when it missed its April release window. Then they said they had to push it to November. Early this month on October 5, they said that the game has “gone gold“. That means all the work should’ve been done and all that’s left is just distribution issues.
