The Apex Games has found a new home in Apex Legends Season 15: Eclipse. The update sends players to a moon-based map with a wide collection of named locations and a new transportation system. Though, it does honor the game’s history with the inclusion of other two other maps that longtime fans should be incredibly familiar with. Broken Moon: Taking the place of Reforged Kings Canyon, Broken Moon is set on the moon of Cleo, the current home of Season 15’s newly-introduced Legend, Catalyst. Similar to World’s Edge, the new map is split into two biomes. This time around, players will discover locations that are either in dirt-infested environments or inside grassy areas bombarded by colorful vegetation.Additionally, Broken Moon is packed with 14 different points of interest. Although this number is somewhat small, it is revealed several areas are more expansive than most POIs from other maps.No matter which location you drop into, you will see Broken Moon sporting an exclusive Zip Rail system. Compared to traditional zip lines, the rails curve around POIs and provide Legends with additional travel speed. Storm PointStorm Point returns for what is now its third consecutive season. It takes the form of its Season 13: Saviors variant, dazzling newer areas like Downed Beast and IMC Armories — the latter of which can be found all throughout the map. World’s EdgeFans of Season 10: Emergence will be estastic to find World’s Edge returning in Eclipse. This is because the map continues to go without The Train Yard and Refinery locations in order to make room for current POIs Lava Siphon and Climatizer.

Regarding rotations, players on every Season 15 map will find a fresh batch of offerings in Supply Drops and Replicators. Most notably, the RE-45 takes the place of the Mastiff in drops, while the M600 Spitfire and Peacekeeper can now be crafted with Materials. There are even five new Gold weapons in each location that can be discovered from floor loot or bins, such as the EVA-8 with the Legendary Double Tap Trigger Hop-Up.
