CS: GO has today launched its December 28 update on PC, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. Today’s update doesn’t add much in terms of content, but it does bring some interesting changes for those playing CS: GO in other languages. Several languages have been properly updated to fix bugs, typos and glitches where words would’ve been misspelled or misspoke. There’s big thanks deserved for the localization team in that regard, even for improving upon the default English variant. There is one more thing for others as well though. Without further adieu, here’s everything new with the December 28 CS: GO update.
CS: GO December 28 Update Patch Notes
- Updated localization files for Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, English, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Romanian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish – Spain, Swedish, Traditional Chinese, and Turkish
- Six different service medals have been added for 2022!
As you can see, we have a whole two notes for today’s patch. With that being said, having the localization for the game improved is good for just about everyone it affects on that list. Alongside that, we now have a new set of service medals for you to grind out and pick up, showing off your ungodly amount of hours put into a game like CS: GO in 2022! For those unaware of what these are, service medals are awarded for hitting Level 40 and prestiging, which you can do six times before getting the final service medal. These display on your account, letting you show off just how much you love the game. It’s minor, but every little thing to grind for counts. Regardless, hopefully, we can see some more exciting updates come in during the new year.
CS: GO is available exclusively through Steam on PC (as it’s a Valve game after all). For more information regarding this update, here’s the official SteamDB post.
