From developer ManyDev Studio comes a new episodic experience where crime and courtroom dramas come together as one. The Lawyer is expected to drop sometime next year, but no specific date has been given as of yet.
Bend the Law to Your Side in ManyDev Studio’s The Lawyer
The Lawyer is an episodic title that takes place in the 1990s. Players take on the role of two protagonists that will shape the flow of the story with the choices they embark on. There’s Mike Ferry, the attorney; then there’s Hector Diaz, the private eye. You must use their abilities and traits to the highest extent if you are to get to the dirty bottom of the crime.
As Hector Diaz, you’ll get into the nitty-gritty details of the crimes by visiting the sites to gather or fabricate evidence. There’s no one set way that the gameplay is supposed to proceed; as aforesaid, their choices will change the story, which entirely depends on what you do both on-site and off. And once you’re done dealing with the scenes, it’s time to take the action in the courtroom. Through testimonies and cross-examinations, the outcome of the cases will rest on the decisions you make.
Players can now wishlist the first episode of the series right now on Steam. Entitled The Lawyer – Episode 1: The Red Bathtub, the first episode follows a grisly murder as both Mike and Hector enter the scene, searching for connections and answers. There is no set date for Episode 1’s release, so be sure to keep an eye out for it.
