Make sure to save all that Adventure Mode progress
Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled may not be the longest and most expansive game around. It’s a racing title after all, so it’s not like your in-game progress is all that key to total enjoyment. But it kind of is, especially in the long and rewarding Adventure Mode that tasks you with journeying around a hub world to tackle new races. This means you do have progress that you’ll want to retain and you may not want to rely too heavily on the auto-save or suspend features. So here’s how to save in Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled.
How to Save
You really only have to worry about this in the game’s Adventure Mode, so we’ll focus solely on that. For other modes you don’t really progress all that much. If you happen to unlock something while playing in another mode, you can easily count on the auto-save feature to have you covered. In fact, even in Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled Adventure Mode you can pretty safely let the auto-save feature handle everything for you. It will trigger after any race or unlock, but there are players who like to manage it themselves, so keep reading to see how to do that.
Yes, Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled still lets you manually save within Adventure Mode. This is handled via large green screens scattered around the world. You should be able to find them pretty easily by just driving around each of the in-game maps. Once located just drive up to it and press the action button (B for Switch, A for Xbox One, and X for PS4). This will let you save your game, load an alternative save, or perform other save file based actions.
Do this and keep an eye out for the auto-save icon and you should be all set. That’s how to save in Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled.
