An updated listing on the North American eShop has revealed that the Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled file size will be 5.7GB. Due to differences in localization, the file size is liable to differ some degree between regions.

This makes Crash Team Racing the smallest kart racing game on Switch, which is good news for people who might be looking to save a little space on their systems. The game is set to launch on June 21 for PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. It will be available as both a physical and digital release.

It’s hard to say what kind of parity there will be between download size on the different consoles. While games normally end up being roughly the same size, unless one system has higher resolution textures, the game does have a PS4 exclusive course that will probably boost the download size there.

The exclusive track is a reworked version of the original Crash Team Racing’s hidden Turbo Track and is a faithful recreation in the low-poly style of the time. If you would like a look at some of the tracks, you can do so in the PlayStation Underground video linked above.

Kart racing games have been in a great sport recently. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best selling game on Switch, and the recent Team Sonic Racing met with excellent reviews. Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled looks like it is shaping up to be a hit, and should do great numbers for publisher Activision.
