Non-PlayStation players will be able to get the game earlier than expected.
One of last year’s biggest hits was the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, which is an HD remake of the first three Crash Bandicoot games, 1996’s Crash Bandicoot, 1997’s Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and 1998’s Crash Bandicoot: Warped. This remade trilogy was largely praised for its loyalty to the original games, and just like the originals, this trilogy was released as a PlayStation exclusive, coming out only on the PS4. Earlier this year, however, it was revealed during a Nintendo Direct stream that the trilogy will be coming to Nintendo Switch, and then the next day it was announced that the game will be released on PC and Xbox One as well.
Originally, the Switch, Xbox One and PC versions of the game were all set to release on July 10, but a recent statement from Activision states that non-PlayStation players will be able to get their hands on the game a bit sooner than expected. A post on the official Activision blog states that the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is now set to come to the Switch, Xbox One and PC on June 29, almost two weeks earlier than its intended July release date. All three versions are currently available for pre-order on the game’s website.
