After all these years, it’s strange to think that we are finally getting a true sequel to Crash Bandicoot 3, even stranger to think that it comes out next week.

Developed by Toys for Bob, the first numbered Crash game since 1998 will finally release for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 2nd. I’m sure by now you are more than aware that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is on the horizon, and know that we are quite excited.

Having only been announced in late June of this year it’s quite impressive the amount of hype that’s been generated around the next Crash Bandicoot game, and to celebrate the impending release, Toys for Bob and publisher Activision has released a new launch trailer giving fans a great look at what to expect.

Take a look at it for yourselves:

It has to be said that Crash 4 looks pretty nice and will hopefully bring back the gameplay fans loved from the original 3. Judging from a recent extended look at the gameplay, it seems as if we are back on track for the glory days. If you missed our coverage on it, you can check it out here.

Excitingly, the launch trailer confirms that a demo is now available for anyone who pre-orders Crash Bandicoot 4 digitally, something I shall be doing when I’m finished writing. The trailer also confirms that character skins will be available first on PlayStation, should that be your thing.

Other than that, the trailer doesn’t really show much that we haven’t already covered in our Crash 4 coverage before, so if you haven’t watched the extended gameplay trailer yet, I’d strongly recommend you do so and join us in our state of excitement.
