After so many delays, Crackdown 3 still doesn’t have a firm release date, even though Microsoft announced back at E3 2018 that it’s coming next February. Today, we might have that window narrowed down a bit.
Originally, the date was fixed at Feb. 22, 2019, but then the same day was chosen by EA for Anthem and Sony for Days Gone, making it one of the most crowded we’ve ever seen in gaming.
Now, according to the Microsoft Store, the game could be dropping on Feb. 28, 2019, one week later. That’s not a huge delay of course, but maybe the publisher is really interested in having it released out of the most crowded period of the year.
Naturally, that doesn’t rule out the possibility that there could be one further delay, even further in the year just to make sure Crackdown 3 is as relevant as Microsoft wants it to be.
Back at E3 we’ve seen it improved quite a lot in comparison with the previous exhibitions, and now that Sumo Digital has the project entirely in its hands there’s a chance it could be growing as it should be.
We’ll see when it releases next year in February (or whenever) for Windows 10 PC and Xbox One.
