It is no secret that The Nerd Stash is a fan of Corsair products and we are excited to show you the Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless SE Headset.

When you open the box, the headset is displayed to show how sleek they have made this design. The shine of the gunmetal colored headset is very classy and rich.

Comfort:

The earcups are very comfortable with their cushion and are adjustable to be able to fit most individuals. The cushion on the headband is also very comfortable with a very cushiony feel which will be nice if you are having a long gaming session.

iCUE Software:

Corsair has had the iCUE software for a while that helps to customized and control many of their products and this headset is no different.

Connections:

The connection for this headset can be totally wireless using the Corsair Slipstream technology and the wireless adapter. There is an approximately 60-foot range of wireless signal.

No wires required for PC or PS4, however, if you need to use a wired USB or 3.5mm connection, those are available, as well. There is a switch on the left earcup that allows you to switch between wireless and USB. This makes the headset very versatile in how it is used.

Sound:

This headset provides quality sound quality with the ability to hear sounds you would miss with other products. This model provides 50mm high-density neodymium drivers that have a frequency range of 20Hz-40,000Hz.

Whether gaming or listening to your favorite tunes, the sound for this headset was very crisp and clean.

There is a volume control on the earcup to control the level of sound to fit your ears.

Using the iCUE software, you can tweak the sound and EQ levels and other audio features.

Microphone:

The microphone is an Omni-directional, high-bandwidth microphone (detachable) that provides clear sound to those who are on the listening end.

The design of the microphone is pretty cool which is different from many I have seen in the past. There is a light on it that indicates whether or not it is on/off/muted, etc.

Battery Life:

The battery life for this headset ranges from 18-20 hours of use which is a very long battery life compared to many gaming headsets out there.

Lights/RGB/LED:

Corsair always has some pretty cool “bling” on their products when it is appropriate and this headset has RGB embedded into the earcups. The earcups display the logo which is lit up by RGB. Many of the lighting features can be customized through the iCUE software.

When the headset is charging, the following shows what stage of charge it is in:

green = full charge red = battery is low orange = halfway charged

The Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless SE Gaming Headset is a really nice gaming headset that provides quality sound, long battery-life, RGB options, Wireless/Non-Wireless options, and so much more.

The gunmetal is such a sleek, shiny design and the RGB and LED lighting makes it look even better.

The options for customization and tweaking through the iCUE software gives you the option to make it your own.

Overall, this is a great product, and if there were anything negative to point out, it would be the price. However, if you have the extra funds and want a quality product, we would definitely recommend you take a look at this headset.
