In the Hypnosis Lab in Control, an Object of Power waits for you to find it. Once you are finished in the Parapsychology Lab, you can make your way to the Hypnosis Lab from the main Parapsychology control point. When you enter, you will notice a group of people being held mentally captive by the Object of Power, which is locked away in a secure room.
Control – Hypnosis Lab Puzzle, How To Get The Seize Ability
To get access to the Object of Power, you need to go into the brightly lit room on the right, where you will find a terminal you can interact with. You need to make the correct sequence of inputs to form the right symbol, which is shown on the wall through the window into the next room. Input the following commands to bring up the symbol:
- Up
- Right
- Down
- Left
- Up
- Right
- Down
- Left
- Up
Once you enter the final input, the door near the Object of Power will unlock, and you will be able to interact with it. When you do, it will be time for another Astral Plane challenge. To complete this challenge, you will need to kill the golden enemy. These are immune to any damage you can do, but thankfully you have a new ability, called Seize.
Seize allows you to take over damaged enemies, and then they will fight for you. Use your shield to get past the golden enemy, and a normal enemy will spawn on the left. Damage him until the onscreen prompt appears, then hit the prompted button to seize them. Do this once more with the next enemy that spawns, and they will tag team the golden enemy and kill it.
And that’s it, the Hypnosis Lab puzzle is solved, and you have your new Seize ability.
