Conan Exiles has today launched update 2.5.2 on the PlayStation 4 version of the game, so here’s the full list of changes and additions with this patch. As this is a patch exclusive to PlayStation 4, you’ve probably guessed that there isn’t much in terms of content. And you’d be right on that, especially considering not long ago you had a nice-sized patch. But with that being said, there are some meaningful changes including a particular exploit fix you’ll want to keep in mind. Without further adieu, here’s everything new with Conan Exiles update 2.5.2!
Conan Exiles Update 2.5.2 Patch Notes
- Chests that require a key to open can no longer be quick-looted.
Crafting Fixes
- Harpy’s Kiss and Black Ice arrows can no longer be dismantled.
Balance Updates
- Voidforge Bow no longer consumes glove durability and instead uses arrows normally. Damage is increased to compensate for this change (28, up from 22).
- Significantly reduced the amount of bonus the Frenzied Bow (Regular and Epic versions) receives from Oil of Agony.

The locked chests no longer being quick-lootable is a notable change though, as exploiting that in multiplayer matches can get annoying. Speaking of that though, there’s a single known issue that the developers mentioned with this update. That issue is:
Be sure to keep that in mind when playing on the new update with other players. Let’s hope, for everyone’s sake, the issue will be addressed by the game’s next patch sooner rather than later. Doing battle with others is a cornerstone of this sort of game.
Conan Exiles is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. For more information regarding this update, check out the official website.
