Those who know Conan the Barbarian in the video game space likely put him to Conan Exiles or Conan Unconquered. They’re definitely the games that have seen the most attention, so it makes sense. What you may not know though is that the Barbarian himself is getting a rogue-lite party game known as Conan Chop Chop. While it likely won’t see the praise and attention of those titles, it does look like quite a bit of fun. Though genuinely interested will have to wait just a little bit longer though. Conan Chop Chop has been delayed until early next year, with the developer’s guarantee of “This Time We Really Mean it™“. I don’t know about you, but that seems legit to me. If you’re curious about the game, check out the trailer below!

Funcom Chief Creative Officer Joel Bylos had this to say of the extended delay:

At the very least, I’m happy Conan Chop Chop developer Mighty Kingdom is avoiding staff crunch. Crunch can be very damaging to a game’s polish, something ever apparent with Cyberpunk 2077. It’s also damaging to people’s mental and physical being, so while we aren’t hurt as much, no one wins at the end of the day.  Given that launch success can be such a huge factor for a game like Conan Chop Chop, it only makes sense to delay it a little bit longer.

Conan Chop Chop will release on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
