Jay Leno’s “Garage” car series is set to be hitting the brakes as CNBC cancels it, bringing a possible end to the partnership between the host and the NBC network. Leno is a TV host with the most.

Apart from his unmatched talent for connecting with fans through his presenting chops, he has an undying love for automobiles, which makes his car show realistic. Leno’s time with NBC studios began in 1992 when he became the host of “The Tonight Show.” He remained there until 2009 when Conan O’Brien displaced him.

That same year, he spun another TV experience with NBC as he welcomed a new talk show, “The Jay Leno Show.” Despite the new host on “The Tonight Show,” the network was not done with having a more seasoned TV anchor to boost their ratings. So in 2010, he returned for a second tenure.

Once he dropped the hosting hat in 2014, Jay Leno’s “Garage” car series was introduced. The Television Hall of Fame Inductee has carried on a sea of fans in his car show, earning a 7.3 rating on IMDb.

But before the show has the chance to win an award (though it has one award nomination) it will be off the air as CNBC cancels Jay Leno’s series.

Jay Leno’s Garage Series Will End His Years Of Partnership with NBC

Jay Leno’s Garage Series on NBC was handled by CNBC, and a source from the channel shared that it has decided to strike out the show.

CNBC cancels Jay Leno‘s series after an order of priority list was drawn up. The channel now hopes to showcase “Shark Tank” and “Undercover Boss” reruns, and original business documentaries.

There was another cancellation last year. But this time, it was Jay Leno and Jeff Foxworthy’s performance that people hoped to see at the “Fabulous Fox.”

Leno had suffered some burns from gasoline, leading to his absence. The talk show guru confessed that he needed about two weeks to get back in shape. The series highlighted his love for and his wealth of cars. He also had known faces come up for interviews. In the past, the talk show host interviewed Elon Musk and President Joe Biden.
