The Pokemon Company has officially announced that Clefable and Clefairy will come to the Pokemon UNITE on October 13, 2022. This announcement comes right off the crux of the addition of Mew to the roster and before the addition of Dodrio and Scizor, all of which were announced as part of the Pokemon UNITE 1st-anniversary celebration.

Clefable and Clefairy will be the newest additions to Pokemon UNITE, which has been adding a wave of new mons to the roster in the wake of its 1st-anniversary celebration. Mew joined the roster on September 2, 2022, and the next fighters before Clefable and Clefairy, Dodrio and Scizor, are set to join on September 14 and 28, respectively.

With the addition of Mew, the Pokemon UNITE roster now has a total of 40 in Pokémon Unite. There is currently an in-game event called the Mew Mural Challenge that will allow players to receive Mew’s Unite License after fulfilling certain conditions.

The arrival of Dodrio and Scizor will bring this number to 42, and it seems Clefairy will increase the number to around 43. Oddly, the trailer promotes both Clefable and Clefairy as if they are different fighters, but it is more likely they will be counted as one.

The game’s other fighters include Duraludon, Hoopa, Trevenant, Dragonite, Tsareena, Greedent, Sylveon, Mamoswine, Blastoise, Blissey, Gardevoir, Zeraora, Pikachu, Charizard, Snorlax, Crustyle, Greninja, Eldegoss, Talonflame, Lucario, Venusaur, Mr. Mine, Slowbro, Absol, Machamp, Wigglytuff, Alolan Ninetails, Cramorant, Gengar, Carchomp, and Cinderace.

Since Clefable and Clefairy were not advertised as part of the  1st-anniversary celebration and are coming next month, it is likely we can now expect month-to-month releases for Pokemon UNITE.
