Chris Hardwick has been chosen by Gearbox Studios to return to his character from the Tales from the Borderlands for the new Borderlands 3. Borderlands 3 is returning Hardwick’s character, Vaughn. Vaughn is a character from the Tales from the Borderlands TellTale game. His character is being brought for the new story in place for Borderlands 3. Gearbox Studios confirmed to the Verge Hardwick will be voicing the returning character. This is after a few months since allegations from his former girlfriend, Chloe Dykstra.

The former Nerdist writer and AMC host of the Talking Dead, Talking Bad, and a few others a few months back was assumed from the allegations to have been the one who sexually and mentally assaulted actress Chloe Dykstra. Dykstra, in 2018, posted an article to Medium about the mental and sexual abuse by her former boyfriend. Hardwick himself was not named directly by Dykstra in the post but many in the community believed it to be him. Hardwick, with further investigation, was later pulled from the Nerdist site along with his posts and pulled from the AMC network as host of the shows. His appearance of that year’s San Diego Comic Con was also pulled as well. After some time assessing, AMC brought back Hardwick to the shows and Nerdist brought back his name to the About Page on the site. A Nerdist spokesperson went on to say,
