Earlier this week, Chris Evans was named “Sexiest Man Alive” by People magazine. Chris Evans’ mom thinks that it was “about time” that her son was named the Sexiest Man Alive. Chris Evans’ mom is proud of the Sexiest Man Alive title…his mother Lisa admitted she will be telling “everyone” about his win of this title. The 41-year-old actor has seemed to be winning in life even more than usual as he has been taking on many more movies including the Christmas movie with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Lisa, Chris Evans’ mom, spoke with Boston’s WHDH TV 7NEWS news channel, saying, “My reaction was ‘yeah, of course, it’s about time!’ This is one of the most wholesome things we’ve heard this week.” Chris Evans’ mom being proud of her Sexiest Man Alive, went on to add, “I was bragging when he was potty trained, I was bragging when he was walking, but this is something everyone will know about. I’m pretty happy about it.”
Chris Evans’ Mom is Beyond Happy
Lisa wasn’t in the slightest surprised by her Captain America son’s winning of the title, but she did share that her son was very shocked. “He’s always amazed at his own success, he’s amazed at what people think of him.” Evans’ mom even went on to say that she feels his friends will poke some fun at him about the title, but she is still over the moon about his title. “His friends will absolutely give him grief about it, but – they’re very funny.”
Evans admitted during an interview after he got the title that his mom would be “so happy” about him being named the Sexiest Man Alive. Evans said, “My mom will be so happy. She’s proud of everything I do, but this is something she can really brag about.”
The bond between Chris Evans and his mom Lisa has been something that makes fans’ heart melt, not only because his mom wants to constantly brag about his outstanding accomplishments, but because they are just that close. Evans has even gone as far as saying in an interview that he told his mom as soon as he lost his virginity.
