Rise As One in Chorus

From developer Fishlabs and publisher Deep Silver comes forth Chorus, an upcoming space adventure that drifts into dark sci-fi territory. A teaser trailer made its debut during the Gamescom 2020 Opening Night Ceremonies. With just a minute of gameplay being teased, we got a glimpse into what mind-bending action is in store for Deep Silver’s next soon-to-be-published project.

In Chorus, you play as dual protagonists Nara and Forsaken, who embark on a cosmic journey for redemption against the cultist group known as the Circle. Both are running from the dark corners of their past: Nara is an ace pilot who was once a member of the Circle, and Forsaken is the sentient ship with issues of its own. Their current conflict in outer space will force them to reclaim their power in the rise against the tyranny of the Circle and their Great Prophet. Assemble forces of resistance, and go beyond the edges of space in this tale of astronomical warfare.

The trailer presented a lot of interstellar sequences of interplanetary peril. Nara and Forsaken can upgrade through a range of weapons and abilities that will aid in their ever-growing struggle to take down the oppressors. In Chorus, adaptability is encouraged, for Nara and Forsaken travel from spectacular planes of existence to sprawling battleships through hordes of enemies.

Furthermore, Chorus will be “fully engineered” to match the superiority of next-gen hardware. The graphical enhancements include 4K resolution at 60 fps, volumetrics in richer quality, increased impact with environmental effects, and ray traced reflections.

More information on Chorus will be posted on their Twitter page. As of now, Chorus has a release window for 2021. This dark star trek into and beyond the mysterious voids will be launching on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Google Stadia, and PC.
