Solo developer Jackson Clayton is ready to launch his newest FPS title, Castillo: Shattered Mirrors. Stylized as CASTILLO: Shattered Mirrors, this retro shooter pits players against Dracula in old-school pixelated graphics, which will be coming to Steam tomorrow. You can wishlist it now to be notified of its official launch.

Conquer the Many Worlds of Dracula in CASTILLO: Shattered Mirrors

In CASTILLO: Shattered Mirrors, you’ll traverse over 60 unique levels while exploring the 15 different worlds of the game. It’s all presented through open-ended exploration, where you’re free to play through them in any order. However, you have yet to unlock all of Dracula’s castle. To accomplish this, the player will need to collect crystal shards from the various worlds. But of course, it isn’t all so easy breezy in this pixelated universe. To see exactly what you’re up against, you can check out the gameplay trailer right here.

Inspired by the late-90s era of first-person shooters and platformers, CASTILLO: Shattered Mirrors is dipped in nostalgia as it invites you for a wild ride. With its fast-paced action coupled with 11 deadly weapons to choose from, this retro horror title is sure to give you a rush. Expect similar feelings of retro DOOM to come into play as you dive into the vibrant darkness of CASTILLO.

The game comes from developer Jackson Clayton, a Games and Simulations student at Miami University in Ohio. He’s a solo developer that has released 14 games on itch.io and two on Steam in the form of Flying Frags World Tour and HyperJustice. CASTILLO: Shattered Mirrors will be his latest creation, with the official release transpiring tomorrow for Steam. You can check out more of his content and biography on his website.
