Captain America 4 has gotten an exciting update from Marvel producer Nate Moore. The official title for Sam Wilson’s first Captain America movie as the new hero is Captain America: New World Order. This movie will continue after the events of the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which covered a lot of Sam Wilson accepting the shield and the legacy that Steve Rogers had as Captain America. This movie has been announced super close to the finale of the series, and soon the movie even received more fans at San Diego Comic-Con.

Epic Things Ahead For Sam’s Captain America

Marvel has had movie premieres, trailers, shows releasing, and everything else to what feels like back-to-back this year, making it a huge deal for Marvel fans. With that, a lot of interviews have taken place. While an interview with Collider was going on discussing Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Nate Moore spoke briefly about Captain America: New World Order.

Carrying on the legacy of Captain America after the Infinity Saga is some giant footsteps to fill, but hearing that the movie will have a script that everyone seems happy with is very reassuring about the passion being put into this movie. Captain America 4 will begin filming in spring; we do not know how long production will be as of this time. Captain America: New World Order has also cast Harrison Ford as Thunderbolt Rosee, who is supposed to replace William Hurt following the death of the actor just earlier this year. There have been some rumors about Ford joining the MCU for the Thunderbolts movie, but that is something we aren’t sure about at this moment.

Captain America: New World Order will take place after the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, as Sam Wilson takes on the role and legacy of Captain America after Steve Rogers handed over the shield at the end of Avengers: Endgame. Captain America: New World Order will release in theaters on May 3rd, 2024.
