While Animal Crossing: New Horizons is all about that island living, you will be moving around a lot in the game. Hunting bugs, harvesting resources, building things, and helping your neighbors means you will be traveling all over the island from dawn till dusk.
Your default travel speed is a sensible enough pace for a busy person, but what if you want to move faster?
Thankfully, you can sprint in Animal Crossing: New Horizons by holding the B button while you move. It’s just a little bit faster than your normal speed, which will cut down on the humdrum nature of the constant running around.
Now, while it sounds like you should be sprinting around all the time to save some time, you also make a bit more noise and scare away bugs easier. Sprinting on delicate things will break them, such as flowers, so it is just two things to be mindful of when deciding if it’s time run or not.
