Nintendo Switch Sports is the sequel to Wii Sports that everyone has been waiting for. While looking at the base line-up of games in Nintendo Switch Sports (and comparing it to Wii Sports) many noticed one fan-favorite sport was missing: Golf. Golf was one of the most popular games in the original Wii Sports, so is there really no way to play it in Nintendo Switch Sports? Well… that’s not entirely true.

While players cannot play Golf in Nintendo Switch Sports on launch, it will be coming to the game via a free update later in the year. It will not be part of the free summer update, which focuses on making the Soccer game compatible with the leg strap accessory, but instead will be part of a second free update coming this fall.

While avid Wii Sports Golf fans will need to wait some extra time for their favorite game to take a step into the current generation of console gaming: it is coming. Until then, there are three other returning games to play: Tennis, Bowling, and Chambara, or you can try the three new games too.
