Charizard is one of the most popular Pokémon in the entirety of the Pokémon franchise. This is no different in the latest Pokémon Scarlet & Violet and even more so during the 7-star Charizard Tera Raid. Everyone knows that you have an opportunity to catch Charizard during this battle, but can you breed them? The answer is yes, you can breed Charizard in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

Breeding them allows you to have many chances at your perfect Charmander. You even have the possibility of getting a shiny Charmander if you happen to breed a Charizard with a foreign Ditto. If you’ve never tried breeding a Pokémon before, then you are probably unfamiliar with exactly how to do that. So, if that sounds like you, keep reading to find out how to breed Charizard in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

How do you breed Charizard in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet?

If you’re familiar with the Pokémon series, then you are probably aware of the Pokémon Daycare that most games have. This is normally where you would leave your Pokémon to level up, gather rewards, and even breed with one another. This feature was removed in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet and replaced with a simpler feature. Instead, players can place the Charizard and Ditto in their place together and remove all other Pokémon, putting them away in the box. Then, you’ll need to start a picnic and wait as the basket on the ground fills up with a maximum of ten eggs.

To hatch them, you’ll need to hold the eggs in your party and ride around the world of Paldea until they hatch. If you’d like to find a faster way to hatch these eggs, you can place a Pokémon with Flame Body in your party with them.
